Craftsmens’ Guild of Mississippi, Inc.

The Craftsmen’s Guild of Mississippi is a juried regional organization founded in 1973 to preserve and promote folk, traditional and contemporary crafts in Mississippi. The Guild sponsors the Chimneyville Crafts Festival the first weekend in December, the Pioneer and Indian Festival in October, and a variety of classes throughout the year, including Marcy's fiber class. In addition, fine crafts are available for sale in the Guild’s gallery at the Mississippi Craft Center on Rice Road, near the Natchez Trace Parkway in Ridgeland, MS. Weekend demonstrations are held March through October.

A 10-member jury selects new members twice a year, March and September. A Friends of Craft membership is available for supporters and collectors, individual and corporate.

Marcy has served on the Guild Board of Directors, as treasurer and as chair of the Standards Committee. She continues to volunteer for the organization in various capacities.
